Funeral Service for Franklene Pitt will be 11:00a.m., Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center, 1500 O'Hare Ave, Gillette, WY with Bishop Matt Melinkovich officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. May 27, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center. Burial will be held at 1:00p.m, Wednesday May 28, 2014 at Lovell Cemetery, Lovell, WY. Franklene Pitt, age 67, of Gillette, WY passed away at her home on May 22, 2014 in Gillette, WY.Franklene Pitt was born on October 10, 1946 in Lovell, WY to Frank and Elva (Workman) Anderson. She grew up in Thermopolis, WY and graduated from Hot Springs County High School. She married William Pitt on April 19, 1968. The couple moved to Wright, WY in 1979 and in 1997 moved to Gillette. Franklene worked as a custodian for Campbell County School District for many years. She loved sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Franklene is survived by her son William Pitt of Casper, WY; daughters Karen Pitt of Casper, WY, Kathy Bryan of Gillette, Billie Holden of Casper, WY; stepdaughters Teri Douglass of Coolidge, AZ, Kelle Shubitowski of North Pole, AK; brothers Brad Bonar of Shingle Springs, CA, Elvin Anderson of Casper, WY; sisters Cheryl Babb of Fayetville, NC, Charlene Bales of Lander, WY, Leah Anderson of Frannie, WY, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, her mother, sister Betty Tjepkes, Brother Kenny and her grandparents. A Memorial has been established in Franklene's name.
