Jake Hedlund

Funeral Services for Jake Hedlund will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at First Southern Baptist Church in Moorcroft, Wyoming, Pastor Guille Seigler officiating. Jacob Ryan Hedlund "Jake" age 18 of Moorcroft, Wyoming died of a car related accident on Wednesday 29, 2014.Jake Hedlund was born on the October 26, 1995, the son of Kelly Hedlund and Evelyn Holbrook. Jake attended Moorcroft High and Bear Lodge in Sundance. He worked numerous part time jobs, loved playing video games and drove a beat up old Pontiac car. Jake cherished all family members, friends and every child he ever met. Jake's laughter was contagious. He would literally give away the clothing off his back if he thought someone needed it. Jake completed basic training in the Army National Guard when he was 17 and was to return at the end of his senior year. His fellow soldiers in the guard will miss the intelligence and skill Jake could have provided, but respected his honesty, uplifting personality and willingness to help others. Jake is survived by paternal grandparents Lloyd and Rosalee Hedlund, Maternal grandmother Colleen Holbrook, father Kelly and Deena Hedlund, mother Evelyn Holbrook, brothers and sisters, Tony and Keona Huckins, Mary Jo Marchitelli, Josh Reed, Quinton Campbell, Connor Hedlund, Hanna Holbrook, Kevin Hedlund, Madelyn Hedlund, April Rain Holbrook Goodfellow. Jake is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
