Celebration of Life for Joseph Donald Allen will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at the American Legion, Gillette, Wyoming. Joseph Allen, 32, of Gillette Wyoming passed away Tuesday, January 28th, 2014. Joe was born December 9, 1981 in Thermopolis, Wyoming. The son of Daniel Dee Allen, Vickie Bonnette/Ward, and Timothy Hottell. He attended school in Thermopolis and Hudson, Wyoming. Joe graduated from Job Corps in Anaconda, Montana. There he studied brick masonry graduating in 2000. After graduating Joe moved to Gillette, Wyoming were his father Dan Allen broke him out in the oilfield working at Northern Production. Joe worked for various oilfield companies throughout his time here on earth, recently was with Wyoming Casing with his brother Basil Reynolds and brother in laws Bobby Adams, Jack Adams, and John Adams. His most current employer was Fire Steel Well Service. Joe's passions were his son Jaxon Joseph Allen, family, friends, music, and the love for the oilfield. Joe loved joking around with his nieces and nephews. Joe was a very kind hearted individual who enjoyed his time with family and socializing with friends and meeting new people. Joe had a smile and silliness about him that left a memorable impression on all who knew him. He enjoyed skate boarding and loved trying to show his nephews up on the board with his fancy tricks. Joe could be found swing dancing with the ladies of the family or just getting his moves on like Jagger. Joe is survived by his son Jaxon Joseph Allen of Evanston. Brother Michael Sowl of Nebraska. Brother Daniel Jr Allen of Montana. Brother Aldin Reynolds of New York. 27 nieces and nephews and several Aunts and Uncles.
