Lee Ann Erick

A memorial service and gathering for family and friends to honor Lee Ann Erick will be from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Don Wight of Calvary Community Church officiating. Lee Ann Erick, age 60 passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her home in Gillette of heart failure. Lee Ann Erick was born on June 18, 1953 the daughter of Leighborne and Georgia Bice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The family moved to Iowa where Lee Ann was raised on the family farm and attended rural schools in Iowa and graduated from high school in SacCity, Iowa in 1971. She attended beauty school in 1971 thru 1972. Lee Ann moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1978 and was employed by Wal Mart for eight years. She met Gordon Erick and the couple was married on August 5, 1983 in Gillette. Lee Ann was a wonderful housewife and amazing grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. When her children were younger the family would enjoy camping trips. Scrapbooking, reading and going to the library with the grandchildren was what Lee Ann did in her spare time. She loved fairies and Indian art. Lee Ann is survived by her husband Gordon Erick of Gillette, WY, two sons, Jeremy Bice of Sheridan, WY, Joshua (Misty) Erick of Gillette, WY, five brothers, Kenny Bice of Seattle, WA, Dennis, Earl, Kelly and Kevin Bice of Spirit Lake, Iowa, one sister, Betty Bice of Spirit Lake, Iowa and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. A memorial has been established in Lee Ann's name and can be sent to Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Ct, Gillette, Wyoming 82716.
