Pauline Gloria Burns

A mass of Christian Burial for Pauline Gloria Burns will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Gillette, WY with Father Reymond Canete officiating. Interment will take place in California at a later date. A visitation will be 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12 with a vigil beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Gillette Memorial Chapel, Gillette, WY.Pauline Burns, age 91, of Gillette, Wyoming died of natural causes Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Close to Home Hospice House in Gillette, WY.Pauline was born March 8, 1922 to Gaetano and Mary (Grillo) Di Maggio in Livermore, California. She attended school in Livermore and graduated in 1940 from Livermore High School. On January 11, 1943 she married Edwin Burns and they lived in the Niles Newark districts in California. Mr. Burns passed away in 1990. In 1996 Pauline moved to Gillette, Wyoming to be near her daughter Jeanne and her family. Pauline is survived by her daughter Jeanne (John) Nulle; three grandchildren: Kathryn Nulle, Krystin (Robert) McKinney, and Robert Nulle; six great grandchildren; and by her sister Marguerite Berry of Paradise, California. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
