Raymond Arthur McIntosh

Funeral services for Ray McIntosh will be held Thursday, December 12th, 2013, at Family Life Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Ernie Bishop officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am the day of the service. Ray McIntosh, age 68, of wright, Wyoming began his new adventure on December 7, 2013 in the town he loved where he passed away unexpectedly.Ray was born in Gillette on May 22, 1945, to Viola Francis McIntosh Saylor and Arthur Alexander McIntosh. He was one of three children. Ray lived in Worland after his marriage on February 18, 1966, to Nancy McIntosh. They also lived in Cody and Gillette and finally moved to Wright after raising their children. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and everything connected with the mountains and the outdoors. Family was a priority and treating people with kindness and respect was also a well-known trait of his. His wisdom and thoughtfulness and especially the love for his family was extraordinary.Ray is survived by ''his wife, his lover, his very best friend", Nancy Allen McIntosh, as well as his three children, Pete (Sally) McIntosh, Marcia (David) Karr, and Chuck (Denise) McIntosh, and 9 grandchildren: Joe (DeeDee) McIntosh, Ashley McIntosh, Jeremy (Kayla) McIntosh, James (Tonya) Karr, Trae' (Siri) Karr, Alac Karr, Amber McIntosh, Crimson McIntosh, Brittany McIntosh, and 11 great grandchildren: Hailee, Natelee, Logan , Riley, Astrid, Soren, Ashtyn, Addison, Kayson, Paisley and Aden. And many surviving nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Gentry and Daylene Gaskill and one nephew Ronnie Gaskill. Memorials are suggested to benefit WTRC (Wyoming Wounded Warrior Hunts) and Swing for a Cure For Cancer.
