Daniel Chester Barrett

Daniel Chester Barrett was taken to heaven Thursday October 31, 2013. Danny was born to Roy and Catherine Barrett on August 9, 1952 in Casper, Wyoming. Graduating from Natrona County, Danny joined the Casper Police Department. He was employed by Wyoming Rentals at the time of his death.Danny was an avid outdoorsman, spending time in the mountains every year hunting and fishing with his brother, Jim and son, Adam. He loved spending time golfing and camping with his wife, Debbie. His grandchildren brought him lots of love and laughter. Danny will always be remembered for having a smile on his face and his big booming laugh.Danny was a beloved father, son, brother and friend. Dan is survived by his wife, Deborah; son and daughter-n-law, Adam and Holly Barrett, their children Jacob and Kaitlyn; stepdaughter and family, Mellow and Thoger and their son Baltazar; daughter Priscilla; son Brendon; brothers Jim and John; and his four nieces. Danny is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank.A memorial service will be at the Gillette Memorial Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 with a small reception to follow.Danny enjoyed volunteering and donating; in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gillette Soup Kitchen.Condolences may be sent to Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street Gillette, WY 82716.
