Trevor Case Jr

Trevor Case Jr., age 73, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away at Campbell County Memorial Hospital on October 2, 2013. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with services following at 2:00pm at Gillette Memorial Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Ernie Bishop from The Gillette Church of Christ officiating. Trevor Case Jr was born in Paden, Oklahoma on November 4, 1939 to Trevor and Clora Case. Jr attended school in Paden Oklahoma and graduated from High School in 1958 where he was the proud valedictorian of his class. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University. Jr married the love of his life Darlene Matheny on August 29, 1961 in Gillette. The couple made their home in Oklahoma and moved back to Gillette in 1965. He enjoyed ranching before entering the workforce with Western Gas in 1985 and retired in 2005. Jr was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk foundation, an avid member of the American Legion and a member of the Gillette Bowling Council. He enjoyed anything outdoors, loved bowling, and assisting with 4-H as a superintendent at county and state fair. Jr was always the first to want to spend time with family. After Jr retired he enjoyed working at Cheyenne Frontier Days and Douglas State Fair with his family for Black Diamond Investigation & Security. During the winters Jr and Darlene enjoyed spending their time in Arizona. Jr is survived by his son Bill (Wanda) Case of Rozet, Wy; his daughter Paula (Mark) Brunkhorst of Mitchell, NE; his brother W.H. Case; his sisters: Gayle Quary and Leola McCoy and four grandsons Dustin, Ty, Nicholas and Casey. He is preceded in death by his parents: Clora Catherine Massey and Trevor Case and six sisters. A memorial has been established in Jr's name to benefit the Grand Prix Bowling Scholarship fund.
