A celebration of Life for Doris McDonald will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, September 20, 2013 at Gillette Memorial Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming. Doris McDonald, age 93 of Gillette, Wyoming passed away September 3, 2013 in Gillette, Wyoming. Doris McDonald, age 93 Passed away September 3, 2013. Doris was born October 31, 1919 in San Francisco, California to Jessie and John Devincenti. She spent half her life in San Francisco and during World War II managed incendiary bomb factories around the country. In 1944 Doris met Bill McDonald, they married in San Francisco. They moved to Buffalo Ranch south of Gillette in 1962. In 1966 they moved to Gillette and made it their permanent home. The couple spent sixty four years together before Bill passed away in 2009. In 1962 Bill and Doris picked up the family and moved to the Buffalo Ranch where they spent four years, then moving to Gillette. Doris worked at the news record and spent out their remaining years there. Cremation has taken place at her request.
