Funeral service for Sandra Coleman will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Gillette Memorial Chapel with Erik Bergquist officiating. Burial will follow in the Gillette-Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.Sandra Coleman, age61 died Thursday, July 4, 2013 in the Big Horn Mountains doing what she loved best, surrounded by the people she loved most.Sandra Lee Coleman was born on September 28, 1951 the daughter of Orville and Eileen (Connor) Grovum in Casper, Wyoming. Sandra, known to her family and friends as Sandie grew up in Casper, Wyoming graduating from Kelly Walsh High School in 1970. She met the love of her life Danny Coleman and they were married just days after her high school graduation. The couple welcomed two beautiful sons into the world.Sandie worked much of her life as a state secretary for the Wyoming Women's Bowling Association and later on as the manager of Towers West Lounge. Her recent months were spent enjoying her retirement.Sandie's hobbies included camping, fishing, photography, whooping her husband Danny at cribbage and spending quality time with her granddaughters and great grandchildren. She called her great grandkids her treasures and said daily what a blessing they were to her. If you had the privilege to know Sandie, she considered you a lifelong friend.She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Danny Coleman of Gillette, WY, her sons Mark (Sharon) Coleman of Gillette, WY, Brian Coleman of Gillette, WY, her brother Charlie (Jeannie) Grovum of Casper, WY, her sister Debby (Russ) Coleman of Casper, WY, Granddaughters, Britney (Josh) Boyer of Gillette, WY, and Ariel Coleman of Casper, WY, Great Grandchildren, Tabin and Tove Boyer of Gillette, WY, numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.Sandie was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Eileen Grovum.A memorial has been established in Sandies' name and can be sent to the Gillette Memorial Chapel, 210 W. 5th St. Gillette, WY 82716.
