Adam Andrew Peters, age 26, of Gillette, Wyoming, a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away at his home on Sunday, April 21, 2013.A memorial service for Adam Peters will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, WY with Erik Bergquist officiating.Adam was born March 30, 1987 in Rapid City South Dakota, the son of Bill and Angie (Wickenheiser) Peters. His early years were spent in Rapid City, SD and he later moved to Moorcroft, WY with his family where he graduated from Moorcroft High School in 2005. After high school he went on to earn an Associates Degree and began working at Cummins Rocky Mountain. Adam moved to Gillette, WY in 2006 and married Donielle Richardson on September 27, 2009 in Gillette. Together the couple had two sons. Adam enjoyed playing Disc Golf, bowling, snowboarding, video games, and paintball. He was also a Scrabble enthusiast and a talented Euchre player. He enjoyed scrapbooking with his wife, brewing Mead, and he loved watching movies, stand-up comedy, and listening to all kinds of music. His greatest joy in life was time spent with family and friends.Adam is survived by his wife: Donielle Peters of Gillette, WY; sons: Nathaniel and Oliver Peters; Adam's beloved Corgi "Shya"; parents: William and Angeline Peters of Moorcroft, WY; father and mother-in-law: Timothy and Melissa Lotter of Gillette, WY; sister: Sarah Laatsch of Moorcroft, WY; brother-in-laws: Paul Talhelm and of Gillette, WY; Kaleb Laatsch of Moorcroft, WY; grandmothers: Viola Mikula of South Dakota; Anna Peters of Louisianna; Nieces: Andria and Natalie Peters of Moorcroft, WY; nephews: Gideon and Gavin Laatsch of Moorcroft, WY; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Andrew W. Wickenheiser; maternal step-grandfather Carl F. Mikula; and paternal grandfather Delbert D. Peters. A memorial has been established in Adam's name to benefit his two sons, Nathaniel and Oliver.
