Memorial service for Gracie L. Walter will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Nickleson's Little Farms Fire Station with family as celebrants.Gracie, age 71, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Gracie Louise Walter was born on February 1, 1942 the daughter of Wesley and Zelma (Fritts) Poulter in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She attended school in Oklahoma where she met Larry Walter.The couple married on August 15, 1969. Gracie was always a very active member of the community she resided in. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, president of Nickleson's Little Farms Ladies Auxiliary. Currently she served on the NLF land and water board, She delivered the Gillette News Record in her neighborhood for over twenty years.Her greatest joy was spending time with family. Gracie enjoyed reading, crafts, gardening, puzzles and playing Bunco. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Gracie is survived by her children, John Dowell, Keith Chrans, Cyndi Walter of Gillette, Wyoming, Mike Walter of Deerfield, Kansas and Jolene Cushenbery of Goddard, Kansas, sister Judy Lawrence, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and one brother.Condolences may be sent in Gracie's name to: Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Ct.
