Ron` J Reints

Memorial service for Ronald J. Reints will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, WY with Father Cliff Jacobson of St. Mathews Catholic Church officiating. Interment at Black Hills National Cemetery will take place at a later date.Ron Reints, age 63, of Gillette, Wyoming died from natural causes Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.Ron was born August 29, 1949 in Vienna, South Dakota the son of Ernest and Bernice (McLain) Reints.He was raised in Willow Lake, SD and graduated from Willow Lake High School. Following graduation Ron joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife Inge Dingert. They were married in Baumholder, Germany on January 10, 1970 and together the couple had one daughter, Nicole. After receiving his Honorable Discharge from the Army Ron moved to Kenosha, WI where he went to work for Goodyear. He was later transferred to Lincoln , NE before finally settling in Gillette, WY in 1979. In Gillette, Ronald worked as a Construction foreman until retiring.Ron enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, trap and skeet shooting, and riding four wheelers. He also enjoyed playing the card game Aces Corner with his daughter. Ron spent many happy afternoons having lunch and visiting at the Campbell County Senior Center.Ron is survived by his daughter: Nicole (Matt) Vavra of Gretna, NE; grandchildren: Caitlin, Kassidy, Joshua, Xavier, and Sydney Vavra all of Gretna, NE; brothers: Bill Reints of Ringling, MT; Mel (Rae) Reints of Billings, MT; Dick (Mary Ellen) Reints of Willow Lake, MT; and sister: Mary Sutter of Sioux Falls, SD.He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and by his sister Marlys Olson.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Ron's name in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, Wyoming 82716.
