Memorial services for William Burl Woodworth will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Zell Woodworth and Pastor Judith England of Gillette First Church of the Nazarene. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #42.Bill Woodworth, age 62, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Friday, February I, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota due to pulmonary hypertension with complications of the flu.Bill was born on February 16, 1950 in Lamar, Colorado the son of Zell D. and Myrene F. (Tapana) Woodworth. He graduated from high school in Bennett, Colorado. Bill served in the United States Army National Guard for seven years. After finding the love of his life, Janet L. Ward, the couple was married on September 9, 1972, and lived in Lakeside, Nebraska where their two children were born: Burl W. and Dawn Lee. During this time he worked at the Star Ranch then the family moved to Sheridan, Wyoming where he worked at Becton Stock Farm for many years until he started to work for BNRR in 1976 and moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1979. Bill was always a cowboy at heart. All of the outdoor hunting, fishing, guiding, outfitting, they did with their Lazy BJ Ranch/Outfitters. Bill and Janet moved their home to southeast of Gillette working their cattle. The couple ended up raising and adopting two great and loving granddaughters: Mary Faith and Della Lee. They were the love of his life.Bill is survived by his wife, Janet Woodworth of Gillette, Wyoming; son, Burl (Jennifer) Woodworth of Gillette, Wyoming; daughter, Dawn (Jay) Drake of Gillette, Wyoming; foster daughter, Susan DeCluette of Billings, Montana; foster son Mark Young of Billings, Montana; grandson/nephew, Spl Jacob Young of Billings, Montana; his adopted granddaughters: Mary Faith and Della Lee of Gillette, Wyoming; brother: Zell "Genie" (Sharon) Woodworth of Colorado Springs, Colorado ;sisters: Connie Sue (Floyd) Dockum of Camanche, Texas, Mariella (Blaine) Wilson of Lakeside, Nebraska; brothers and sisters-in-law; Sandra S. (George) Suhr of Minatare, Nebraska, Linda J. (Denny) Heflin of Harlan, Iowa, Connie J. (Rick) Hilliker of Sidney, Nebraska, Thelma L. (Eldon) Muhr of Alliance, Nebraska, John A.
