After a short stay the family settled in the small town of Gillette, Wyoming when Nick was 1 year old. By the age of 5 we knew he was born to run. Starting with soccer he was all over the place. His sister, Alssya said best being born on the same day, he's the gift you wish you could take the batteries out of. Nick couldn't sit still. Three short years later and very tired of all those kids kicking at him, dad showed him a sport where he could hit back and it would be ok and fun. Nick was very competitive and by ninth grade he played for the Sage Valley Eagles football team and won the championship. He also found another sport he would try, wrestling and wrestled his way to a district championship. He was very proud of the accomplishments of setting records that still stand with Conestoga Elementary, Sage Valley Junior High and Campbell County High School. But before leaving the football field blessing the crowds with one, two and even a 300 plus yard game. In addition to all of the sports, he loved to play X-Box, wrestling with his brother, spending time with his family and although camping was not his favorite thing he went so he could spend time with his family. Nick was always encouraging others and was a volunteer coach helping with grade school children touching many young people in our community. He had a very strong faith in God.
