Norma Jean Dubel

Funeral services for Norma Dubel will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bob Rudichar of Cornerstone Church of God Church. Burial will follow in Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7: p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.Norma Jean Dubel, age 73, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of natural causes.Norma Dubel was born on July 25, 1939 in Tripp County, South Dakota the daughter of Milford and Reka (Schuppan) Farris. She graduated salutatorian from Colome High School in 1957. On September 21, 1957, Norma married James P. Dubel in Colome, South Dakota. She enjoyed being a cake decorator. Norma ran a daycare out of her home and took care of the elderly in their homes. She enjoyed making paper flowers and bouquets, playing bingo and attending church services. Norma also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.Norma is survived by her sister, Maxine Harter of Sturgis, South Dakota; children: Chalene "Cheri" Smith of Gillette, Wyoming, Rebecca "Becky" (Brian) Kjensmo of Park City, Montana, James R.
