Mass of the Christian burial for Dolores M. Kopacz will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Port Washington, Wisconsin. Interment of ashes will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Dolores M. Kopacz, age 82, of Port Washington, Wisconsin died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming due to extended complications of injuries received in a automobile accident in December, 2011.Dolores May Kopacz was born May 9, 1930 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to William F. and Marguerite (Berg) Kobs. She grew up in Milwaukee graduating from Riverside High School in 1948. She married Donald Kopacz in January, 1951 and they had two children Michelle and Michael. Dolores lived most of her life in and around the Milwaukee area. The family moved to Florida for a short period of time, but Milwaukee was home to her and they moved back to Saukville after a short few years in Florida.Dolores was a retired employee of the W.H. Brady Company. She worked part time for United Way in downtown Milwaukee and later in life was a volunteer at Columbia, St. Mary's Hospital in the Grafton, Cedarburg area.Dolores is survived by her daughter, Michelle "Mickie" (Dave ) Daigle of Gillette, WY; four grandsons, Adam Daigle of Piedmont, SD; Andy Daigle of Gillette, WY; Jeremy and Ben Kopacz of Louisville, KY; sister-in-laws, Carol Schneider and Sandy Kopacz , and brother and sister-in-laws Jim (Marlene) Kopacz and John (Carla) Kopacz all of the Milwaukee metropolitan area.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald and son Michael.Memorials to benefit Immaculate Conception Church in Saukville, WI may be sent in Dolores's name in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, Wyoming 82716.
