Funeral services for Flora Muruth Gunn will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don White of the Calvary Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery in Ellsworth, Kansas.Muruth (Woolman) Gunn went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2012 from health complications. Muruth was born on Sept. 24, 1941 to Dale and Grace Lair in Great Bend, Kansas. Muruth is one of four children consisting of two brothers and one sister. Muruth was a dedicated mother involving herself in her four children's activities as they grew up. She was also was a loving and admiring grandmother and great grandmother. She is known as a fun loving and charismatic person who could always light up a room and make people smile. Her hobbies include sewing, knitting, gardening, volunteering for various causes, macram and visiting with friends. She worked as a chiropractor's aide, nurse's aide, bus driver with CCSD, the first book keeper for Perkins Restaurant, book keeper for Sooner Pipe and Supply and a crossing guard and teacher's aide while she lived in Spokane, Washington. Muruth was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and held numerous offices over the years. Murth is survived by her son, Tod (Shelly) Schartz from Orem, Utah; daughters: TaWaynda (Mike) Babich of Gillette, Wyoming, Tammy McDuff of Gillette, Wyoming, Jonene (Ty) Means of Gillette, Wyoming, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and sister, Ruby Leffel of Flagstaff, Arizona.
