Frances Faye Bailey

A gathering of friends and family for Frances Bailey will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.Frances Bailey, age 71, of Gillette, Wyoming died at the Hospice Hospitality House on Friday, June 22, 2012 losing her battle with cancer.Frances Faye (Alma) Bailey was born on April 18, 1941 the daughter of Roy and Ethel (Snavley) Alma in Lebanon, Indiana. She attended school in Indiana, where she graduated from high school. Frances married James Bailey on August 18, 1962 in Frankfort, Indiana. Frances worked for Dairy Queen in Frankfort. In July of 1979, they moved their family to Gillette, Wyoming. Frances was employed at Burke Jewelers and then at Real Estate System's until July of 2004 when she retired to take care of her husband. She enjoyed her flowers especially the red roses. Frances liked to watch the hummingbirds, butterflies and yellow finches in her garden. She collected antiques, beanie babies and Barbie's. Frances may have been a small woman but she was a firecracker, full of p & v. She was a character always joking about something. Frances had an R rated sense of humor with everyone. She was an avid watcher of HGTV.
