Funeral service for Matthew Earl Park will be held at 2p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, Wy with Pastor Ernie Bishop of Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.Pisgah Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 7:00pm Friday, June 8, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home.Matthew Park, age 26, of Gillette, Wyoming died June 6, 2012 in Rozet, Wyoming as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.Matthew was born November 11, 1985 in Rawlins, Wyoming the son of Randy Park and Sheila (Anderson) Bennett. Matthew attended school in Rawlins and there he earned his GED. He worked at Wendy's Restaurant as well as at Taco Bell in Rawlins before moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 2010. For the past two years Matthew worked for McDonalds Restaurant as a maintenance person. Matthew had many interests and especially enjoyed playing guitar and video gaming but he loved his cat Thor more than anything. Matthew was dearly loved by his family and he will be greatly missed.Matthew is survived by his father Randy Park of Rawlins, Wyoming; his mother Sheila Bennett of Gillette, Wyoming; step-father Mike Bennett of Gillette, Wyoming; sister: Sarah (Joey) Granzer of Gillette, Wyoming; as well as by his aunts: Marilyn, Dorothy, and Tina; uncle Dennis; and cousins: Willie, Heather, Aidan, Joey, Eli, Shaun, Oden, Ivy, and Rain.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Matthew's name in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY.
