Alberta Rose Mason

A memorial service for Alberta R. Mason will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2012 at the Walker Funeral Home with Bishop Clark Melinkovich of the 4th ward presiding. Another service will be held in Morrisville, VT at a later date. Alberta, age 60 passed away at her home in Gillette on Sunday, April 29, 2012 of health related issues.Alberta Rose Mason was born on January 4, 1952 to Sidney C. and Dorothy G. (Brown) Mason in Morrisville, Vermont. She graduated from high school in Morrisville and had worked in nursing care as a nurse's aide from 1972 to 1981 in Morrisville. Alberta moved to Gillette, Wyoming for the climate and made Gillette her home. From 1981-2002 she was employed in several restaurants and hotels.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 1988. Alberta was an assistant meeting house librarian with the 3rd ward, a genealogy assistant librarian and had lived in all four wards in Gillette, Wyoming. Her passions' were handcrafts, painting, reading and genealogy work. She is survived by her two brothers, Acey and Jeffrey , six sisters, Ticona, Jerry, Yvette, Maria, Suzanne and Penny.
