Marcella Rokowski

Viewing for Marcella Rokowski will be held from 3-5 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, Wyoming.Marcella Rokowski, age 72, took her final trip April 14, 2012. She was surrounded by close family when she slipped away from natural causes.Marcella was born January 9, 1940 to Adam and Lydia (Nitchke) Kienzle in Fredonia, North Dakota.Marcella enjoyed traveling around the world with her youngest daughter and son-in-law. She also enjoyed sewing and doing crafts with her oldest daughter and she loved spending holidays and any time possible with her grandchildren. Towards the end of her life what always brought her smiles and laughter was making bunnies for the March of Dimes donations and spending hours talking on the phone with her sister "Chatty Cathy" as she called her. Marcella was a most generous and kind hearted person. She touched many lives in the seventy-two years she lived. How fortunate for those who knew her. She is loved and will be greatly missed.Marcella is survived by two sisters: Bernice Smith of Casper, WY; and Carol West of Woodbridge, CA; her children: Vickie Rokowski-Horn of Gillette, WY; Kurt Rokowski of Denver, CO; and Bonnie (Travis) Dee of Denver, CO; grandchildren: Charlie LaBadie, Jason Rokowski, John Wayne Pickett, Jessica Rokowski and Seth Butz Rokowski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Marvin Kienzle, sister: Marge Williams and son: Gregory Pickett.In Lieu of Flowers memorials and condolences may be sent in Marcella's name to Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY.
