Mass of Christian Burial for Pedro Gonzalez-Ochoa of Gillette will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 17, at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Gillette. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Tuesday morning at the church. Gillette Memorial Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.Pedro Gonzalez Ochoa, age 67 of Gillette, Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, April, 12, 2012 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming, from long term illnesses. Pedro was born on June 29th, 1943 in C.D. Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Ruperto Gonzalez and Angela Ochoa. In 1967, Pedro married his true love Carlota Corral. While living in Mexico, Pedro and Carlota had four children, which three of them passed away, in 1976 Claudia was born, and that is when they decided to migrate to United States in 1977. They eventually found there way to Gillette, Wyoming in 1979. The following year, in 1980, Anna was born, following after in 1982, their first son, Juan was born. As the years past, they had four more children that had passed away. Pedro was a wonderful father and husband. He loved his children and all his grandchildren. He was very ornery and a flirt. He lived an honest life and he had a charismatic personality. Everyone loved talking to him. He loved fishing, hunting, horseback riding, gardening, traveling, dance, working on vehicles as a mechanic, and he loved to get together and barbeque. Pedro was a hard worker, he worked for Burlington Northern, then for the oil rigs for several years, during this time in 1988 Pedro and Carlota received their Residency, and in 1997 Pedro retired due to his health. Then to keep himself busy he started working for Dr. Bagnarello for 6 years. He just couldn't work any longer and officially retired.Pedro is survived by his wife Carlota Corral, his two daughters Claudia Vazquez and her husband Geovani Vazquez, Anna Gonzalez and her husband Abel Martinez, his son Juan Gonzalez, and 6 grandchildren, Devon, Mayra, Geovani, Nathaniel, Anthony, and Alex. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his 7 children, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
