Ted was a big gentle man with a heart to match his size. He loved his family and friends with a passion seldom seen. He never forgot a person's name after he had met them and it only took a short conversation before he considered them his friend. He was born January 4, 1964 to James (Jim) and Barbara (Hunnell) Holdeman in Sheridan Wyoming. He grew up in Gillette, Wyoming and graduated from CCHS in 1982. At the age of 12, he started working summers with his aunt and uncle Study on a ranch near Biddle, Montana, which he spoke of often. After high school, he worked on a ranch for Bud Gleason near Weston, Wyoming. He was a man of all trades, working construction, oil and methane fields. He worked for Farmer's Co-Op, Walter's Welding, Handran Production and WPX Energy (formerly Williams Production). He was a member of DeMolay, NRA (lifetime), Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and having a cold one with friends and family. He married Rebecca Ann Schwindt on April 5, 2008, and gained three beautiful step-daughters. On February 22, 2010, they brought into the world the light of his life, Kamryn Elizabeth Holdeman.
