Robert, age 59, passed on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Wyoming Medical Center from complications of a stroke. He was known as Mick to some, Bob to others, and Dad to the truly fortunate. Born on November 20, 1952 in Auburn, California to Robert Coldren Sr. and Sybella Johnson. He was raised in California until the age of 16. He then moved to Fallon, Nevada where he met Rachelle Judd, was married in Virginia City and started a family of five children. In 1982, the family moved to Gillette, Wyoming where Robert dedicated 27 years to Caballo Mine. He enjoyed the outdoors very much, especially hiking, biking, camping and hunting. Stock car racing, rebuilding hot rods and working in his shop were fun, creative outlets for Robert. He looked forward to the next big adventure and wanted to share those adventures with family and friends. He realized a life-long dream in 2009 when he traveled to Italy and experienced amazing food, drink, travel and, as always, made quick friends. Robert was a role model to his children and grandchildren, truly a one of a kind soul. He worked hard, played hard and never missed an opportunity to live life to the fullest. He was kind, generous and unconditional with his love. His was a life unfinished...but not wasted. Robert is survived by his 5 children: Shawna, Heather, Angela, Kerri, and Tony and seven grandchildren. His family plans to plant a tree and post a plaque in his honor at Cam-plex Park.
