Memorial services for D. Jonathon Carmody will be held as follows: Memorial Mass at St. Mary's, Panama, Iowa, March 16, 2012 at 5:30 pm. Additional memorial services will be at Point Lookout, NY on Saturday March 24, 2012 at10:30am, and at a later date in Cary NC.D. Jonathon Carmody, age 51, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Gillette, Wyoming following a severe stroke. Jon was born in Port Chester, NY on May 18, 1960. Jon married Connie Schwery on August 27, 1996, on the island of St.Thomas. They lived in New York before relocating to Cary, NC. Jon recently accepted a position with Campbell County Medical Center in Gillette, Wyoming. Jon had a love of music, art, and his beloved New York sports teams. He enjoyed his family, being a cub scout leader, basketball coach and swim team fan. Thank you to all the friends across the country that shared in his life. Jon lived by the philosophy that Life is simply much too short, so enjoy every day we have together during our all too brief time on this planet. Jon was a beloved husband and father.Jon is survived by his wife, Connie (Schwery) Carmody of Cary, NC; daughter, Megan Annie Lynch age 27, of Smithtown, NY; two sons, Hunter, age 11 and Aidan, age 8, of Cary, NC; parents, Dan and Jean Carmody of Point Lookout, NY and brother Christopher "Chip" and wife Patricia of Darien Ct.
