Funeral service for Amber Herman will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2012 at Pringle Cemetery, Pringle, South Dakota with Milton Stratton and Charles Carman as officiants. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, WY.Amber Herman age 32, passed away February 1, 2012 at the Close to Home Hospice House in Gillette, WY following an extended illness.Amber was born December 5, 1979 in Buffalo, Wyoming the daughter of Robert and Pam (Ommen) Carman. She attended school and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1998. She continued her education at Black Hill State University in Spearfish, South Dakota graduating in December 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and human resources. Amber married Chad Herman May 21, 2005 and the couple had two children. She worked at Jacob's Ranch Coal Mine as a temporary college student in the summers while she attended college. Amber also was employed at UPS and Industrial Supply. She had many hobbies and interests such as camping, four wheeling, flower gardening, quilting, painting bird houses, baking, collecting frogs and antiquing. Her family was the most important part of her lifeAmber is survived by her husband Chad Herman of Gillette, WY: son, Cody and daughter, Holly both of Gillette, WY: parents, Robert and Pam Carman of Gillette, WY: brother, Charles Carman of Piedmont, SD: as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Floyd and Charlesetta Carman: and Mike and Etta Ommen.Memorials are suggested to benefit the Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House or the Cancer Center.
