Rose Marie Inez Bills

Funeral services for Rose Marie Bills will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Kenneth Nealeigh officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.Mrs. Bills, age 82, of Gillette, Wyoming died at Lund Home Hospice House in Gilbert, Arizona on Sunday, January 29, 2012.Rose Marie (Martinez) Bills was born in Denver, Colorado on December 25, 1929 to John B and Nettie (Johnson) Martinez. Rose grew up and went to school in Denver, she graduated from high school and moved to Trinidad, Colorado where she met Hub while working as a car hop. On October 9, 1950 Rose and Hub were married in Raton, New Mexico. Following their marriage, they moved to, Wyoming and continued to grow their family to seven children. Rose stayed at home with her children until moving to Gillette in 1963. In Gillette, she worked as a cook at the Sands and also in retail sales for Famers Coop until 1993 when she retired. Rose loved her family more than anything else in the world. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, puzzles, working in her flower garden, rides in the country with Hub, getting her hair done, swimming with her girlfriends at the Rec Center, and just sitting looking out her window enjoying the day. Rose would always remind everyone to "Be Sweet". Rose Marie is survived by her seven children: Patricia (Andrew) Gerber of Parker, Colorado, Charolette (Richard) Garst of Gillette, Wyoming, Terry Proctor of Aurora, Colorado, Susan (Daniel) Reynolds of Gillette, Wyoming, Guy (Janine) Bills of Gillette, Wyoming, Jess Bills of Gilbert, Arizona, and Stacie Bills (David Karumuna) of Scottsdale, Arizona; twelve grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren (plus one on the way), and one great-great grandchild.
