Avice Hope Morgan

Avice Hope Morgan, age 73, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away January 15, 2012 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of a heart event. According to her wishes cremation has already taken place.Avice was born August 7, 1938 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska the daughter of Thomas James and Alice Elizabeth (Tart) Williams. The family moved to Lingle, Wyoming where Avice attended school and graduated from Lingle High School. Avice met Frank Morgan from Torrington, Wyoming and they were married September 18, 1960 in Torrington, Wyoming. Avice lived her life in the Lingle-Torrington, WY area, where they raised their children, and attended church at the Rhema Fellowship Church. She helped out at the U-Pump Gas Station, and also the Share and Care Program. Avice enjoyed going to the Torrington Fair, and attending activities at the Torrington Senior Citizen's Center, she also liked to crochet, play bingo and cards. She moved to Gillette a year ago to be near her daughter and grandchildren.Avice is survived by her son: Frank Morgan, of Torrington, WY; daughter: Ruby (Ken) Starrett of Gillette, WY; brothers: Larry (Vera) Williams of Carpenter, WY; Monty (Brenda) Williams of Syracuse, NY; James Williams of Torrington, WY; and Allyn Williams; eight grandchildren: Angela Morgan, Doug Myers, Bo James Morgan, Amy Myers, Kristy (JD) Bare, Frank Morgan, Mandy Nation, Kimberly Anderson and eleven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, son: George Morgan, and daughter: Rebecca Morgan.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Avice's name in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
