Memorial services for Glen George "Wolf" Robling will be held on Wednesday, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Gillette with the Rev. Dan Holden officiating.George made a peaceful transition into the next life on Thursday, January 12, 2012. He was born on August 18, 1952 in Cottage Grove, Oregon, the son of George Foster Robling and Betty Bartholomew Robling. He lived most of his young life in Idaho. His journey took him to many places in the country, including Seattle, Worland, WY, Kansas City, MO, Flippin, AR, and Gillette. He worked in the oil fields and as a painter before suffering a spinal cord injury in 1995. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Grateful Dead and loved camping in the Big Horns.He married Benita Cassity in November of 1978. Their marriage was graced with three children, Glen Jr., (J.R.), Travis and Desire'. In 2008, after 31 years of separation, he was reunited with the 'love of his life,' Marty Dingman Stemmerman. She survives, of the home.Survivors include his children, J.R. and Danielle Robling, Gillette, Travis Robling of Kansas City, and Desire' and Jerrod Foutch, Gillette; grandchildren Michael, Dezeray, Dominic, Skylynn and Abby; brothers Gary, Johnny, Keith, David and Jeff, and sister, Anne Robling.He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Oletha Baker, his parents and brothers Bobby and Butch. The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate care of Dr. Tom Andrew and his staff, as well as the many others whose care made George's life a little easier. "Wolf" was known for his wisdom, his generous, loving nature and playful sense of humor. He was an extraordinary man and a free spirit in the truest sense of the word. He will be deeply missed.
