Tanya Linnae Husmann

Memorial service for Tanya Husmann will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken Cherrington officiating. Tanya Husmann, age 26, of Wright, Wyoming died on Monday, January 9, 2012 due to injuries from a car accident. Tanya was born October 8, 1985 the daughter of Caroline Mosley and Wilbert Leppanen in Hancock, Michigan. During elementary school she came with her mom to Wyoming and attended Rozet Elementary and Heritage Christian School and then attended Westwood High School while taking college courses, she graduated from Westwood High School in 2002. In 2009, she met her best friend and now husband David Husmann. The couple was recently married on December 9, 2011, and this was her greatest joy and accomplishment. Tanya was currently employed as the manager at Good Times Taco Johns. She was an animal lover, she never gave bringing home a stray a second thought. Tanya loved all animals from snakes to dogs but her favorite animal was the elephant, collecting hundreds of them. She loved to make people smile, she was kind hearted and always wanted people she was around to laugh, having a joke for most everyone. Tanya will be sorely missed by her husband, David Husmann of Wright, Wyoming; mother, Caroline Mosley of Wright, Wyoming; father, Wilbert Leppanen of Duluth, Minnesota; mother-in-law, Candace Robertson of Cable, Wisconsin; sister, Yvonne Leppanen of Grand Rapids, Michigan; several other brothers and sisters; sisters-in-law: Jennifer Husmann and Amanda Robertson of Hayward, Wisconsin grandparents: Joyce Leppanen of Florida and Leonard and Leona Mosley of Rozet, Wyoming; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Melanie Mosley of Gillette; best friend, Harmony Addison, friend John Davis both of Gillette, Wyoming; and step-son, Jacob Pliska of Ashland, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Wilbert Leppanen Sr., Ottie Mosley Sr., cousin, Robert Lee Mosley and father-in-law, Michael Husmann.
