Barbara E. Owens, age 42, of Gillette, Wyoming, went to live with Jesus on December 5, 2011.Barbara was born on May 26, 1969 in Torrington, Wyoming to Glen and Sandra Stellpflug. She spent her childhood on the family ranch in Guernsey, Wyoming.On August 8, 1987, she married the love of her life, Gary L. Owens. The two had a marriage based on love, trust and complete adoration for one another. On May 13, 1988, her daughter and "other half", Tiffany Danielle, was born, followed by her son and pride and joy, Christopher John, on February 25, 1991. The family moved to Gillette in April of 1991 where they made their home.Barbara had a passion for life and giving. She was an active participant with the Salvation Army and found joy for many years working with children.Barbara will be remembered for her compassion, her ability to be everyone's "mom", her quick sense of humor and her unconditional love for her family. She loved snowmen, telling hunting stories, Jesus, and talking about future plans for her grandbabies she so looked forward to. She was a true "Raider Hater" and Denver Bronco fan.Barbara is survived by her husband of 24 years, Gary L. Owens; parents, Glen and Sandra Stellpflug, of Guernsey, Wyoming; her children: Tiffany (Brian) Roesner and Christopher Owens; her siblings: Michael Stellpflug of Afghanistan, Stephanie (Kevin) Anderson of Worland, Wyoming, Glenda (Lyman) Harvey, and Andrew (Theresa) Stellpflug of Glenrock, Wyoming; fifteen nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members.She is preceded in death by her grandparents.Memorials are suggested to The Salvation Army in Barbara's name.
