Karen Gail Sikes

A memorial service for Karen Gail Sikes will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Highland Park Community Church in Casper, Wyoming with Pastor Miller officiating.Karen Sikes, age 44, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, December 5, 2011 of natural causes. She lived in California for many years before coming to Casper, Wyoming where she lived for over 10 years, and then moved to Gillette, Wyoming. Karen Karen Sikes was born August 31, 1967 in Abilene, Texas the daughter of Larry and Windy (Lommasson) Wood. She liked to make jewelry and worked in the health care profession. Karen loved to be with her children. She went to cosmetology school and worked as a nurse's aide. She will be missed by many people who love and care for her. Karen is survived by her children: Daren Wood and Michael Wood both of Casper, Wyoming; her mother, Windy Meester of Kennewick, Washington; her brothers: Wayne Wood of Huntsville, Alabama, Bradley Wood of Salisbury, North Carolina and Nathan Wood of Marina, California and her step-brothers, Noel Bunting, and Ricky and Cody Meester. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Wood and her grandparents.
