Funeral services for Matthew R. Cundy will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor George Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 5pm-7pm, at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, WY.Matthew Robert Matt Cundy, 27 of Casper, died tragically Saturday, November 20, 2011. Along with being a loving son, partner, and friend to his parents. He was a wonderful brother and enjoyed spending time with his nephews.Matthew Cundy was born September 7, 1984 in Gillette, Wyoming the son of Bradley and Janette (Sorenson) Cundy. Growing up in Gillette he played Little League baseball, junior high football, and hockey. His greatest love was the time he spent in the summer, at the family Cabin at Keyhole inviting his closest friends to enjoy water skiing and tubing, he also had a great love of snowboarding and big game hunting especially on the family ranch.After graduation in Gillette he went to work at Keyhole Technologies, LLC, learning the family business, where he bought in and became partners with his parents in 2010 as the estimator and manager.While he will be missed greatly by family and friends, he will also be remembered, for who he was as a young man that had the bull by the tail and you could count on to go the distance. Matt was a very avid Wyoming Cowboys Football and Dallas Cowboys Football Fan.Matt is survived by his parents Brad and Jan Cundy(Casper), Grandfather Leslie Cundy (Gillette), brother Chad(Gillette), sister Dawn( Casper) and nephews Blaine and Braedyn (Casper). He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bob and Bonnie Sorenson and paternal grandmother Donna Cundy In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial to the Boys and Girls Club of Campbell County or Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming.
