Graveside services for Kenneth Irish will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Pastor Marty Crump of Family Life Church officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #42.Kenneth Irish, age 94, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Kenneth Franklin Irish was born in Ridge, Montana to James and Edith (Wharton) Irish. Ken was raised and educated in Montana. He entered the service in August of 1946, serving in the Air Corps. Upon his honorable discharge he completed an engineering certificate and worked with the Wyoming road and bride department. On October 11, 2002 he married Carol Weese Turner. The couple made their home in Gillette and recently moved into the Primrose retirement community.Ken and Carol enjoyed dancing and spending time at the senior center.He is survived by his wife Carol Irish of Gillette; son, Steve Irish of Burbank, CA; step-son, Norm Weese and his wife Kristy; brothers: Dwight Irish of New Mexico and Calvin Irish of Miles City, Montana; grandchildren: Lori Weese of Denver and Leslie Weese - Warner of Gillette; and 4 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother Norman and grandson Anthony Weese.
