Charlotte Ramona Bennett

Funeral services for Charlotte Bennett will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2011 at Blanche Beck Memorial Chapel in Pioneer Manor Nursing Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2011 at Blanche Beck Memorial Chapel.Mrs. Charlotte R. Bennett, age 77 of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on November 14, 2011 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.Charlotte was born March 2, 1934 in Worland, Wyoming to Charles and Blanch Wyman of Ten Sleep, Wyoming. On October 7, 1953 Charlotte married Joe L. Bennett in Billings, Montana. Over the years Charlotte worked as a hairdresser and waitress in the Worland community. In 1978, Charlotte and her family moved to Gillette, Wyoming where she worked at Tower West and Little Giant restaurants, before becoming the owner-operator of Lulu Belles Caf until she retired in 2006. Charlotte enjoyed serving her customers at Lu La Belles and socializing with friends and family. Charlotte enjoyed traveling with her husband and family to Montana, Oregon, Texas, South Dakota, as well as Keyhole Lake. Charlotte also held a special place in her heart for her beloved pets Spike, her puppy and Flame, her kitty. Charlotte also formed a very close bond and gratitude to the staff and residents of Pioneer Manor and Gillette Memorial Hospital. She felt like she was a vital part of activities of the main dining hall at Pioneer Manor.Charlotte leaves behind, daughter, Jolene Friesen, (husband Rick;) son, Joe W. Bennett, (wife Lorie) and daughter, Laurie Calvert, (husband Rick); brothers: Charles, Everett, and Marvin Wyman; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grand children, and one great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by husband Joe L.
