Edna Ruth Sager

Edna Ruth Sager, age 93, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at her granddaughter's home in Gillette, WY. At her request cremation has taken place.Edna Sager was born June 30, 1918 in Sundance, Wyoming the daughter of Benjamin H. and Mae E. (Banks) Justice. She attended school and graduated from Sundance High School. Edna was employed as a typing clerk for The Fish Genetics Lab at Ranch A near Beulah, Wyoming for fifteen years..She married Harold E. Sager July 3, 1953, and they made their home on a ranch near Beulah, Wyoming and also had a home in Spearfish, South Dakota where she resided for the last fifteen years. In October 2011, when Edna's health was failing she moved to her granddaughter's home in Gillette to be near family, it proved to be a very rewarding time for all involved.Edna is survived by two granddaughters, Morgan (Moore) Miller and Megan (Moore) Shear both of Gillette, WY; as well as five great-grandchildren also of Gillette, WY.She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Sager and daughter Jayne Sager. Memorials are suggested in Edna's name to benefit Hospice of Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
