Memorial services for Kenneth Stewart Carlisle will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2011 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ernie Bishop officiating. Mr. Carlisle, age 25, of Gillette, Wyoming was found on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Campbell County, ending a 6 year search, that brings closure to his friends and family. Kenneth Stewart Carlisle, known to his family as Stu, was born on January 24, 1980 the son of Kenneth and Donna (Jones) Carlisle in Gillette, Wyoming. The family moved to California when he was a toddler and moved back to Gillette in 1990. Stu graduated from Westwood High School in 1998. Upon graduation Stu worked for Mellowmoon Cleaning, Woodridge Construction and Strong's Soffit and Siding. He married Melissa Brennan on August 29, 2003. The couple had three children. Ken loved to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, reading, movies, video games, puzzle books, working out, cooking and grilling, and mud bogging. Ken was also a member of the Elk Hunter's Foundation. Ken is survived by his wife, Melissa Carlisle; children: Anthony Carlisle, Sean Brennan and Anaiya Brennan; mother, Donna (Roger) Carlisle-Meyer; brother, Michael Carlisle; sisters: Kathy (Jared) Kemerling and Rikki (Ryan) Chapman all of Gillette, Wyoming; grandmother, Barbara Carlisle of Gillette, Wyoming; grandparents: Ray (Karolyn) Jones as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents: Kenneth Carlisle, Orel Jones and more recently, grandparents: Muriel and Richard Thrasher.
