Private family services for Richard "Dick" Burkart will be held on the Washington coast at a later date.Dick Burkart, age 67, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Richard Albert Burkart was born on July 31, 1944 in Torrington, Wyoming the son of Elmer and Barbara (Eichorn) Burkhart. He was raised and educated in Yoder, Wyoming graduating from Yoder High School. Dick attended Puget Sound University in Washington State earning his Bachelor Degree in Business. He was an avid football fan of the NFL and college teams. Dick loved watching college basketball especially Duke being his favorite team. He enjoyed visiting casinos and watching horse racing. Dick had a green thumb and had a knack for growing the best tomatoes.
