Rick Allen Park

Memorial services for Rick Allen Park will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Walker Funeral Home with Kenna Lou Rose officiating.Rick Park, age 46, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away at his home surrounded by family on August 24, 2011 after a battle with cancer. Mr. Park was born July 15, 1965, in Cheyenne, Wyoming the son of Vern and Harriet (Davis) Park. He was raised and educated in Cheyenne, Wyoming and graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute in 1990, where he studied automotive repair. Rick married Linda Prosser in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 22, 1988. The couple, along with their two sons, moved to Gillette, Wyoming in June of 2001. Rick had worked as a laborer and equipment operator in the rock crushing industry and had currently been working as a foreman for Basic Energy Services in Gillette, Wyoming. He enjoyed listening to music and camping as well as riding dirt bikes. Along with spending time with family, Rick most enjoyed taking his prize 1968 El Camino out for a cruise on summer weekends. Rick is survived by his wife, Linda Park of Gillette, Wyoming; sons: Cory (Anne) Park and Bruce Prosser of Gillette, Wyoming; one grandson Gabriel Prosser, and parents, Vern Park and Harriet Yeager both of Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his brother Ray Park, and his grandparents: Ray and Lena Park and Harry and Ila Davis.
