Aurita Quiaoit

A memorial service for Aurita A. Quiaoit will be at5:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church with Father Tim Martinson officiating.Aurita A Quiaoit was born on August 14, 1963 in Las Pinas, Rizal, Philippines. She battled breast cancer for 9 years from May 2002 to July 2011 and had been treated at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming. Also, as the cancer progressed, Aurita traveled to China for further treatment. She died at Mother of Perpetual Help Memorial Hospital in Las Pinas, Rizal, Philippines at 7:30a.m. on August 1, 2011. Aurita is survived by her husband Arthur Quiaoit (an accountant of Khan Hotel Investments), by her children Kevin Patrick, age 13, Kathleen Paige, age 11, and Kendrick Paul, 10 years old. Other family members include her two sisters, Mrs.Perlita A Lucena who works in Cambodia as an accountant with Wildlife Alliance, and Mrs. Raquel A Pantaleon, a housewife, and her brother, Jimmy D Alhambra who is a Housekeeping Manager of the Khan Hotels in Gillette, Wyoming. Before migrating to the United States, Aurita worked as a cashier with ITM Mining Company, a Diamond Mining Company, in Luanda, Angola, West Africa from 1994 to 1997. This is where Aurita met her husband Arthur. Since moving to Gillette, Wyoming, she was working at Walmart Supercenter as an associate in the deli department. Aurita loved to work and was loved by her fellow associates very much. She was always happy and jolly. She had a great sense of humor, was very friendly and outgoing, and was very hardworking. Often, Aurita smiled and laughed with others without anyone seeing the pain she lived daily. Aurita also loved to cook, and many loved her oriental noodles (pancit guisado) and her eggrolls (lumpia). She loved to travel and see different places. Aurita also, first and foremost, loved her family...her husband and her children.
