Funeral services for Patricia Lucille Christiansen will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Family Life Church with Pastor Martin Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Walker Funeral Home.Pat Christiansen, age 68, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Close To Home Hospice Hospitality House following a lengthy illness and complications from Hemochromotosis.Patricia Wells Christiansen was born on December 13, 1942 in Portland, Oregon the daughter of Vern and Ardith (Campbell) Gibson. Pat married Ted Christiansen in 1961 in Omaha, Nebraska. To this union one son was born, Tim in 1962. The family moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1980, where Pat opened Grandma's Kids Krafts Daycare. In 1998, Pat opened Carousel Food Concession and Catering, as well as operating the cafe at the Campbell County Airport. She enjoyed numerous hobbies and was a race car enthusiast. She was an NHRA official in Omaha, Nebraska for 17 years, and a proud supporter of the Gillette Thunder Speedway and Campbell County Car Club. Pat is survived by her son, Tim (Candy) Christiansen; two grandchildren; ten brothers and sisters and numerous adopted grandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, and her parents.In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to benefit Close To Home Hospice, American Hemochromatosis Society or Relay For Life.
