Funeral services for William "Duff" McMinn will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Wes Smith of New Life Wesleyan Church officiating. Cremation has taken place.Duff McMinn, age 81, of Gillette, Wyoming, died on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Gillette Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Duff was born on July 21, 1929 in Punxsutawney, PA, the son of Harry and Fannie McMinn. He served in the United States Army for 8 years and was honorably discharged in 1958. Duff spent the next 25 several years working for Citi Services, first driving a truck hauling pipe, working his way up to Regional Manager. Upon retirement he loved going to Cooke City, Montana where he ran an RV park in the summers with his best friend Ralph Wilson. Duff also enjoyed spending time with his "Coffee Friends" at Packard's every day.Duff is survived by his wife of 15 years, Betty (Hullinger) McMinn of Gillette, Wyoming; one son, Kurt (Tammy) McMinn of Oceanside California; 3 step-sons: Donnie (Tina) Hullinger, Corey (Lisa) Hullinger, and Steve Hullinger; one step-daughter Jodi Warrington all of Gillette; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; and three sisters, Ethel Wolfe, Bonnell Dobson, and Kathryn (Bugs) McCreight, all of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
