Funeral service for Henry "Hank" Roberts will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Bob Rudichar officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, at the Walker Funeral Home from 12-2 p.m.Hank Roberts, age 81, of Upton, WY passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Campbell County Hospice House in Gillette, WY.Henry, known to his family and friends as Hank was born July 12, 1929 in Hulett, Wyoming the son of Clyde and Lola (Bartlett) Roberts. He was raised and educated in Hulett. Upon finishing his schooling, Hank worked as a ranch hand, helped to build Keyhole Dam, was employed in the oilfield and at Black Hills Power and Light Company where he was employed until his retirement. He married Vera Pipkin in 1960 and the couple made their home in Gillette.In his leisure time he enjoyed collecting guns. Hank was a very social person, he never met a stranger and always had a joke and smile for everyone.Hank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vera of Gillette, WY; sons, David and Ronnie Roberts of Gillette, WY; twins, son Johnnie Roberts and daughter, Joyce White both of Gillette, WY; stepchildren, Gary Carson, Jim Carson and Bill Carson all of Gillette, WY; as well as seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and 13 siblings.Memorials and condolences can be sent in Hank's name in care of the Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82718 or condolences can be sent via the internet at www.walkerfuneralgillette.com.Funeral Home:Walker Funeral Home410 Medical Arts CourtGillette, WYUS 82716
