David Ronald Lund

Private family services for David Lund age 64, of Gillette are being held. Interment will be in the Kaycee Cemetery in Kaycee, Wyoming. Walker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.Mr. Lund died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at his home. David Ronald Lund was born on August 13, 1946 in Buffalo, Wyoming, the son of Grant and Mary (Rose) Lund. He was raised and educated in Sheridan, graduating from Sheridan High School. Upon his graduation from high school he began a twenty plus year career in the Navy. After his honorable discharge in 1988, David retired to Gillette. He tried to enjoy retirement for a few years, but decided he needed to stay busy and began to work for Camel Lanes in 1993 until 2006.David was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He enjoyed gardening, bowling and trips to Deadwood.He is survived by a son, Richard Dean Lund of Rindge, NH and brother, Danny Lund of Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Robert Lund and Loren Lund; sisters: Marianne Ottgew and Judy Lewis.
