Funeral service for Lucille Muhm will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the St. Francis on the Prairie Episcopal Church in Wright, Wyoming with Rev. Sally Boyd officiating. Visitation will one hour prior to service at the church in Wright. Burial will follow later that day at the Edgemont Cemetery in Edgemont, South Dakota. Lucille Muhm, age 67, of Wright, Wyoming died on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at her home of natural causes.Lucille Irene Muhm was born on February 13, 1944 the daughter of James A. and Jane H. (Andersen) Coates in Hot Springs, South Dakota. She lived in the Burdock, South Dakota. area until age seven; then in Edgemont, South Dakota until she married. Lucille attended school at the Burdock Rural School, Edgemont Elementary and graduated from the Edgemont High School in 1962. Lucille attended the University of South Dakota at Vermillion, South Dakota. On July 16, 1963, she was united in marriage with John f. Muhm. To this union two daughters were born: Kandita Kay, and Michele Lynn. John worked in the oil fields in Mule Creek, Wyoming, Woodward, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; Douglas, Wyoming and finally Wright, Wyoming. Lucille worked in the accounting business, and owned her own tax and bookkeeping business in Douglas and Wright. She was a member of the St. Francis on the Prairie Episcopal Church in Wright and was the music lady for over twenty years. Lucille was a member of the Thunder Basin Bell's and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading.Lucille is survived by her mother, Jane Coates of Edgemont, South Dakota; her son-in-law, Jim Cobb and two grandchildren: Debbie and Marc Cobb all of Wright, Wyoming; three brothers: Edwin (Ginny) Coates of Hot Springs, South Dakota, Albert (Sandy) Coates of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Donald (Patty) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, twelve nieces and nephews, seventeen great nieces and nephews and hundreds of friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, her father and her two daughters.A memorial has been established in Lucille's name and can be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West Fifth St. Gillette, Wyoming or condolences via the internet at www.gillettememorialchapel.com.Funeral Home:Gillette Memorial Chapel210 West Fifth Street Gillette, WYUS 82716
