Timothy George Dahler, 26 of Kooskia died Thursday, February 17, 2011 in a car accident near Gillette, Wyoming where he was currently working for T&A Construction as a lineman. He was born October 17, 1984 to Kim M. & Cindy J. Robinett Dahler in Lewiston, Idaho. He hit the ground a running and never slowed down. He went all out at everything he did.Tim grew up on the family ranch on Battle Ridge near Stites, Idaho. He loved chasing cows as a little boy and knew all their names and their babies by the time he was 5. He started raking hay on an old Case tractor by the time he was 7 and was driving a standard manual shift pickup in the fields by this time as well. He loved horses and riding with his friends. Tim attended school at Clearwater Valley, graduating in June of 2003. He was very athletic, participating in football, basketball, track & baseball starting in grade school clear through his high school years. He was voted most valuable player of the football team in 2002 and most inspirational in basketball in 2003. He was awarded numerous medals and awards in all the different sports. Tim then went on to attend Northwest Linemans College at Meridian, Idaho, graduating in 2004. He loved being a lineman and was proud of his work. His family was proud of him as well. Tim worked hardand played harder. There were never any half measures for Tim. It was all or nothing.He met Sarah Ann Rossiter of Bemidji, MN while he was working on a job near Rock Springs, WY and they were married on November 15, 2008. Soon the Dahler household was blessed by the arrival of Trace Dahler. Trace was a real gift from God and Tim loved his son dearly as well as his beautiful wife.Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents Merlin & Neosho Gillette Dahler, and George & Cressie New Robinett, his Great Grandmother Stella Howard Gillette, numerous aunts and uncles.Tim is survived by his wife Sarah Rossiter Dahler and son Trace Dahler who reside on the family homestead on Battle Ridge, brother Kevin Dahler & parents Kim & Cindy Robinett Dahler all of Battle Ridge, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.A memorial Service is being held on Saturday, February 26th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Clearwater Valley High School with a covered dish potluck dinner following in the cafeteria.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clearwater Valley High School Athletic Program.
