Funeral services for Reverend Ralph Reed Jr. will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Abundant Life United Pentacostal Church in Gillette, WY with Pastor Steve Carnahan officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, WY.Ralph Reed Jr., age 60, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away January 4, 2011 after an extended illness.Ralph E. Reed Jr. was born July 14, 1950 in Rising Sun, Maryland the son of Ralph E. and Ola Belle (Campbell) Reed Sr. He attend school and graduated in 1968 from Rising Sun High School, Rising Sun, MD. Ralph attended Apostolic Bible Institute and graduated with a Bachelors of Bible Theology. He married Georgia Lumbard, July 31, 1971. They lived in several different places including Cody, Wyoming where Ralph was employed as a pastor, he has also worked in a sawmill and as a grocery store department manager, Hot Springs Pools and Spa manager, computer salesman, and in his own business R & R Mobil Home Repair. The family moved to Gillette, WY in 1993.Ralph was a general licensee with the United Pentecostal Church International and also a Chaplain for Campbell County Hospital. He enjoyed reading and preaching God's word, working and playing on computers, hunting, fishing. He played the banjo, guitar and bass and enjoyed singing. He was an avid baseball fan, the highlight of his sports fan life was seeing the Colorado Rockies play in the 2007 World Series. Ralph is survived by his wife Georgia of Gillette, WY; father, Ralph E. Reed Sr. of Rising Sun, MD; sons, Ralph (Crystal) Reed III of Ringgold, GA; Nathaniel (Amanda) Reed of Morgantown, WV; daughters, Stephanie (Ray) Espan'a of Farmington, NM; Stacey (Tony) Randall of Rising Sun, MD; Joann (Matt) Walsh of Billing, MT; brothers, David (Kathleen) Reed; half sister's JoAnn and Kathy and five grandchildren as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Belle Reed.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Ralphs name in care of the Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Ct.
