Memorial services for Vicky Lee Reznicek will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Family Life Church in Gillette, Wyoming, with Pastor Bill Morel officiating. A private family burial will take place at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.Vicky Reznicek passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO.Vicky Lee Reznicek was born November 7, 1957 to Fritz and Loretta (Evans) Roberson in Sandy, Utah. The family moved to Wyoming in 1960 living in Gas Hills, Jeffrey City and Casper before moving to Gillette in 1972. Vicky graduated from Campbell County High School in 1976.Vicky married Mike Barnette in 1976 and they had two daughters Kelly Jo, and Jody Lynn, the couple later divorced. In 1987 she pursued her teaching degree at Black Hills State University graduating in 1991 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. Vicky married Larry Reznicek on Valentine's Day 1991. She continued her education and received her Master's degree from Lesley University in 2002.Vicky worked her entire teaching career with Campbell County School District working ten years as a social studies teacher at Twin Spruce Jr. High. For the last five years Vicky was a teacher at Westwood High School. Vicky won the Campbell County School District Teacher of the year in 2009. She loved teaching and especially enjoyed her colleagues at both schools. The finest group of people anyone could ever ask to work with.Vicky enjoyed hiking, camping, reading and spending time with her family.Vicky is survived by her husband of 20 years Larry Reznicek of Gillette, WY; daughters, Kelly (Mike) Daniel and grandson Kody, of Gillette, WY; Jody (Corey) Nestor and granddaughter Addison of Gillette, WY; Mother Loretta Roberson of Hill City, SD; sisters, Cindy Packard of Pinehaven, WY; and Charlene Edwards of Gillette, WYShe was preceded in death by her father.In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Westwood High School Scholarship fund.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Vicky's name to Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
