Grace Fiedler

There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Grace Fiedler at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Moorcroft VFW, Moorcroft, WY. Grace Fiedler, age 70, passed away October 19, 2010 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of natural causes. Grace Alene Fiedler was born April 3, 1940 in Potter, Nebraska the daughter of Glenwood and Eda (Carlson) Lipska. She attended school and graduated from Potter High School in 1957. Grace married Kenneth Fiedler April 26, 1962. The family moved to Wyoming in 1972, living in Gillette and then moving to Moorcroft in 1974. Grace was a waitress at Sonny's Cafe and the Hub Cafe. She was also an Avon representative for several years. After her children left home, she moved to Douglas, Wyoming. In 2007, Grace moved back to Moorcroft to be closer to her family. Grace was a member of the Moorcroft VFW Auxiliary and Moorcroft American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and working on the family genealogy. Grace really enjoyed making quilts for her family. Grace is survived by her sons, James Fiedler of Owosso, MI; Casey(Anne) Fiedler of Moorcroft, WY; daughters, Bonnie (John)Martin of Streamwood, IL; Pearl (Loyd) Johnson of Moorcroft, WY; brother, Robert (Lila) Lipska of Bridgeport, Nebraska; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fiedler; her parents; brothers, Jerry Lipska, Alvin Lipska, Glen Allen Lipska, and Francis Lipska; sisters, Elvera Yetter, Glenna Rose Addleman and Sharon Wieger.
